Duckweed -- Tiny, free-floating plant with single dangling root

Spatterdock -- Large, floating, round or heart-shaped leaf with yellowish flowers

Water Primrose -- 3-inch, oval or lance-shaped leaves in shallow water, yellow flowers

Watershield -- Floating eliptical leaves, reddish underneath with slimy coating, reddish flowers

Water Lily -- Large, round, floating leaves that are split at the center, large white or pinkish flower

Watermeal -- Very small floating plant that resembles green seeds
