Recertification Course
In order to recertify, you will need to pass a recertification exam by answering at least 70% of the questions correctly. The recertification exam is 30 questions - all questions are multiple choice or true/false. The questions focus on two areas:
1) Review of material from your original training course - if you feel you need to brush up on your previous training, you can do so by:
- Review the PowerPoint presentations from the workshop (PowerPoints)
- Review your handbook materials
- Browse online publications and MWON brochures (Resources)
2) New material that was not covered in the original MWON workshops. For this recertification course, we will focus new material questions on the following publications (click on the titles to view or print the publication).
- Water System Planning - Estimating Water Use
- Using Low Yielding Wells
- Water Well Location by Fracture Trace Mapping
- Sanitary Well Caps and Grouting Wells
- Drilling a New Well
- View the new PowerPoint presentation about using low yield wells and water well location by fracture trace mapping
Once you are ready to take the test, click on the link below and you will be taken to the online test. Once you submit your test, you will be notified within 1 week of your results.
